Leadership isn't solely about giving orders. It's much easier to tell people what to do than to motivate them from within. Think of leadership as an opportunity to show people how kind you are and how much you can get done without resorting to giving orders. Think of ways you can use kindness to get optimal results and motivate people to do better work because they want to rather than because they're told to.
